What we do
We plan and run KOL campaigns in Asian and emerging markets where the platforms, the rules and the tone are different from the English-speaking market. Each market is managed by someone who speaks the language, reads the community chat and can tell whether a creator's audience is real. KOL.solutions is run by Bussler & Co, a New York marketing company founded in 2016 that has worked with more than 150 clients since 2016, and we are an official member of Anthropic's Claude Partner Network.
The common mistake is translating an English thread and paying a local creator to post it. It reads as foreign, it gets ignored, and in some markets it is a compliance problem. We brief on facts and let creators write natively.
The markets we cover
| Market | Where the audience is | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Korea | YouTube, Naver blogs and cafes, KakaoTalk groups, X | Retail heavy and fast moving. Exchange listings on the domestic exchanges drive most attention, and advertising rules are strict. |
| Chinese-speaking | X, WeChat groups, Telegram, Binance Square, local media | Mainland promotion is restricted, so campaigns target Chinese-speaking audiences in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and elsewhere. |
| Vietnam | Facebook groups, YouTube, Telegram, TikTok | Very large retail base, low prices per post, and group admins matter as much as individual creators. |
| Japan | X, YouTube, note | Slower and more cautious. Regulation is strict and tone is formal, so aggressive price talk works against you. |
| Turkey | X, YouTube, Telegram | Very active retail market with high engagement rates and comparatively low prices. |
How a campaign runs, step by step
- Market selection. We look at where your existing holders, users and exchange volume already are, and pick one or two markets rather than spreading thin across five.
- Local sourcing. Our native managers build the creator list, including group and channel admins who do not appear in any English database.
- Vetting in language. We read the comments. Bought engagement is easy to spot when you can tell whether the replies make sense, and impossible when you cannot.
- Brief, not translation. Creators get a fact sheet with the product, the numbers, the link and the disclosure requirement, then write in their own voice.
- Back-translation review. Before posting we translate the draft back to English so you can check accuracy and claims. This is the step that catches promises nobody on your team agreed to.
- Local compliance. Disclosure wording follows local rules, which are stricter than the English-language norm in Korea and Japan.
- Posting and support. Posts are scheduled in local time. We monitor the comments in language for the first 48 hours and answer questions with your approved responses.
- Reporting. Per creator, in English, with UTM tracking and on-chain attribution where wallets are the goal.
What you get
- A native-language manager per market who is your point of contact.
- A creator list including local platforms and group admins, with prices and audience notes.
- Vetting done by someone who can read the comments.
- Native content from a fact brief, with back-translation for your review.
- Disclosure wording that matches local rules, as set out in KOL disclosure rules.
- Comment monitoring and replies in language for 48 hours after each post.
- An English report per creator and per market.
Typical timelines and budgets
Three to four weeks for one market, and five to six weeks for three, because sourcing and back-translation add time. Prices per post are generally lower than in the English market in Vietnam and Turkey, similar in Korea and higher in Japan. These are typical ranges.
| Scope | Typical budget | Length |
|---|---|---|
| One market test | $10,000 to $20,000 | 3 to 4 weeks |
| Two or three markets | $25,000 to $75,000 | 5 to 8 weeks |
| Ongoing regional programme | $15,000 to $40,000 per month | 3 months and up |
Who this is for
This fits projects listing on a regional exchange, chains and applications that already see traffic from these countries, and teams whose English campaigns have stopped producing new holders. It is a poor fit if your product has no localised interface or documentation, since sending a Korean audience to an English-only app wastes the spend. Market detail is in the Asian crypto KOLs guide.
How to start
Book a call and we will recommend which markets to run first and send a local creator list with prices.
Questions
Can you run campaigns in mainland China?
We do not promote into mainland China. Chinese-language campaigns target audiences in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Chinese-speaking communities outside the mainland.
Is translated English content ever acceptable?
Only for factual documents such as audits or token terms. For creator posts it reads as foreign and gets ignored, so we brief on facts and let creators write natively.
Which Asian market is the cheapest to test?
Vietnam and Turkey usually have the lowest prices per post with high engagement. Korea and Japan cost more and need more compliance care.
How do we check what was actually posted?
Every draft is back-translated to English before it goes live, and the report includes the original post, the translation and the tracked result.
